I have really loved to cook for as long as I can remember, it is pretty much my only domestic skill. When I was 8 years old, I begged my grandparents for an Easy Bake Oven, which was a delightful device that cooked a myriad of powdered foods (just add water) under a 100-watt light bulb. When I ran out of powdered cake mixes, I experimented with making my own concoctions. My parents were far too smart to try anything I made, but I was luckily blessed with a younger brother, 7.5 years my junior, who would eat anything as long as I told him that it would give him magical abilities much like those of (fill in the blank with whatever was his favorite super hero at the time). Thus began my love affair with cooking.
Lately, I have been cooking more than usual and so I thought it might be interesting to record some of my various culinary experimentations.
